New for January 2019 this full day course will recognise and develop your ability to independently paddle your chosen craft whether that be Canoe, Kayak or SUP in a sheltered water environment. Working with one of our experienced coaches you will work together over the course of the day to develop both your paddling skills and environmental awareness, enabling you to make more confident choices when out paddling independently in the sheltered water environment.

Safety & Rescue Skills Builder (19-02-19) Why not join us for a day to deepen your knowledge of safety and rescue techniques? This course is aimed at people who are looking to further develop their safety and rescue skills within the sheltered water environment. We will specifically be looking at mixed craft rescues covered within the Paddlesport Instructor and Paddlesport Leader assessments. These include recover a capsized paddler and their equipment from deep water, recover an upright and incapacitated paddler and their equipment to shore in deep water, rescue an unconscious paddler and their equipment, and perform an effective self rescue. We will develop your problem solving ability to be able to effectively complete the rescues of a range of craft (eg canoe, kayak, SUP) from your chosen craft.
