From our centre  we will have a gentle paddle exploring bays and inlets on our journey up towards the Dam wall, on our way heading back up we will find a nice spot at the side to moor up and provide you with a warm drink from our Kelly kettle before continuing on to the final part of our journey.

Along the way there is plenty of amazing wildlife to look out for including Grebes, Herons and even Kingfishers and a spectacular view of the Roaches, Hen Cloud and Ramshaw Rocks!

Paddlesport Leader Assessment (25-04-19)

This is a 2 day course which will assess your leadership and group safety management skills from a craft of your choice in benign, sheltered waters.  

Prior to assessment you are required to be a British Canoeing Member, have registered for the assessment holding a stamped LR Form, be of 3 Star or Performance Award standard in the craft that you choose to lead from, be a minimum of 16 years of age and hold an 8 hour First Aid Certificate.
